Children are out of hand, these days, because the adults are out of hand. Things most would have never thought of doing, children are now doing daily. One little boy was recorded slashing his own mother’s tires to get out of going to football practice. An obvious solution to the problem would have been to have not signed up for football in the first place. Aside from that, there is the question of who recorded this child slashing his mother’s tires.
While the concept of social media is genius, the follow through is not. What seems to have been overlooked is the people who would be using it. Many people who seek attention in real life will go seeking attention on social media. This trend continues until there are people doing some very silly things for the sake of views. Not only did this child do something dangerous, but he was also encouraged by an adult to do it.
Most children don’t want to honor their responsibilities. After all, by simply being a child, that is a child’s nature. However, the adults in a child’s life are supposed to be there and show them the importance of following through on their commitments. Unfortunately, in the era of clicks and views, a child’s responsibilities mean nothing. So a child wanted to get out of going to football practice, so he slashed his mother’s tires. This was probably a skit and the mother probably recorded it.
