Here in North Carolina, there is new controversy erupting on the local level. At Fayetteville State University, students are upset and united for one cause. Recently, Miss FSU, Bria Perkins, was stripped of her title and the students are not having that.
According to the brass at FSU, there are certain requirements of how a person represents FUS as Mr. and Miss. The qualifications include conduct, grades, and other reputation-based qualities. On the news, they said Perkins did not live up to her end of the bargain.
But, the students are not having any of this, and they are using every possible forum to protest. There are people chanting “BRING BRIA BACK” in the hallways of the school. Then, of course, they have flooded Twitter with #BringBriaBack.
