Britney Spears assaulted by Victor Wembanyama’s security
Britany Spears is still one of the most popular artists in the world, as she also is a major figure in Las Vegas. This is due to her previous residency concerts there.
Meanwhile, Spears just ran into a very unexpected situation. She noticed 2023 NBA number one overall draft pick Victor Wembanyama in Las Vegas on Wednesday night, and wanted to get a photo with him, after she tapped him on the back. However, Wembanyama’s security slapped Spears in the face, as she fell to the ground, according to TMZ. Furthermore, this reportedly occurred at Catch restaurant in the ARIA Hotel around 8:30 PM.
At the time, Spears was with her husband and two others. When approaching Wemby, she ended up falling to the ground after being slapped. As a result, that also caused Spears’ glasses to fall off. The security who committed this went on to be identified as Director of Team Security Damian Smith.
Spears’ accepted Smith’s apology, but her team filed a police report with the Metropolitan Police Department, and alleged battery. They also went on to meet with Spears, this morning. Meanwhile, this is now being looked at as a criminal investigation and it’s “as serious as a heart attack.”
