Brittish Williams returned to “Basketball Wives,” last year, and admitted her legal woes. As a result, her ex, Lorenzo Gordon, was threatening to take their children from her. In 2016, she and Gordon broke up, and she began dating Soulja Boy. While that didn’t last, neither did her and Gordon’s reconciliation. Now, it looks like Brittish will be away from her children, and her love life. According to reports, the judge gave her a four year prison sentence, due to bank fraud.
Brittish Williams was one of a handful of reality TV stars, who got caught up in financial fraud, during the pandemic. She was involved in various kinds of fraud, including tax, bank, insurance, and pandemic-related frauds. In addition, she was caught misusing social security numbers, committing wire fraud, and also making false statements to the IRS. Even after the fed made contact with her, she continued these schemes.
Brittish Williams had her day in court and she faced the judge today. Diane Klocke, the Assistant US Attorney, made sure to highlight how serious Williams’ crimes are. Williams has committed several forms of financial fraud. As a result, $564,000 was lost. Now, Brittish Williams is facing four years behind bars, along with five years under supervision, and having to pay $564,069 in restitution. In addition, the judge told her she knew what she was doing was wrong, and did it anyway.
