Until the “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” season four cast announcement, it looked like Brooke Valentine would forever be known for “Girlfight.” The song was one of 2005’s first hit singles, but she would soon be forgotten. It was sad, because Brooke Valentine had talent.

The casting behind “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” is good at finding artists who had hits, or debuted, in 2005. Their history includes Omarion, Ray J, Teairra Mari, and now Brooke Valentine and Keyshia Cole, both of which debuted in 2005, joining Teairra in that regard.

Brooke Valentine, though, is so much bigger than her 2005 breakthrough success. The fans have so much excitement and good feelings about her. They love her to death and have sided with her, against Marcus Black and Jade, for how they are doing her, even if it’s just Marcus who is doing wrong.
