Back in 1998, Busta Rhymes released his third album in three years with E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event). This album featured some pretty good music from Busta Rhymes, most notably “What’s It Gonna Be” with Janet Jackson. Songs like those helped make E.L.E. a hip hop classic.
In 2009, Busta Rhymes announced his retirement after he finally released his long-awaited Back on My B.S. album. Last year, Busta Rhymes joined Cash Money Records and released a free album with Google Play, Year of the Dragon. However, there have been rumors about an E.L.E. 2 album being in the works.
Rumors, recently, have suggested Busta Rhymes may possibly be preparing to release this album. These rumors became a reality when Busta Rhymes released the official trailer for the album. There is no release date for the project, but it is coming in the near future.
