Busta Rhymes gives Ja Rule props, saying he won #Verzuz against Fat Joe, following epic beef they once had, and tells Rule he’s on his game tonight
In 2003, Ja Rule’s run on top of the rap game came to an abrupt end. Many credit 50 Cent for it, but Busta Rhymes also had a hand in this. Eventually, the beef faded from headlines, but it still captivates many, and most of the parties involved are on good terms, again.
Before the beef, Busta Rhymes and Ja Rule were actually friends. Busta was on Rule’s “Holla Holla” remix and both made cameos, in Missy Elliott’s “Get Ur Freak On” music video. Actually, in 2007, both rappers had court, on the same day.
Last night, Busta Rhymes was at Madison Square Garden to watch Ja Rule and Fat Joe face off, for Verzuz. Sitting with Swizz Beatz, Busta said Ja Rule won, and gave him props for the win. The love he showed Ja left many shocked, as the two had a high-profile beef, but the two have been on good terms, for years, even appearing together in a music video, with French Montana.
