Anyone who came up in the Tri-State area during the late 1990s and early 2000s should definitely know about Cam’ron and Dipset. Even though he was doing his thing for years, Cam’ron really broke through with “Oh Boy.” Since then, Cam’ron has not reached the same level of commercial success, but he is a street legend.
Few people release music the way Cam’ron does and he’s back with another new stream of music. He is delivering the First of the Month EP and he has some heavy hitters on the new project. There are features from Nicki Minaj, 2 Chianz, Estelle, Gunplay, and Wiz Khalifa, thus far.
Cam’ron spoke on this when he visited MTV News to discuss his upcoming project. It comes in addition to his recent work with A-Trak. Starting with this project, which is due in July, Cam’ron will release a new project at the first of each month and visuals will come along with it.
