Canadian city of Pickering gets stronger WiFi to help Boi-1da and Drake
Back in 2019, Drake took to his Instagram stories, to say that the Mayor of Pickering, Canada, needs to get stronger WiFi connections. This is so that his producer, Boi1da, can get beats to him in a timely manner.
However, three years later, the City Of Pickering’s Instagram feed has announced that they have finally secured more stronger WiFi towers. The City Of Picking even used some Drake bars, to make this huge announcement. Boi-1da is also pictured with Mayor, Dave Ryan.
“Drake’s call for better Internet in Pickering is answered! Remember when Drake called on the “Mayor of Pickering” to fix Internet connectivity issues where his regular producer, Boi1da, lives and works? Well, as a result of the City of Pickering’s advocacy for broadband and Bell Canada’s recent expansion of pure fiber Internet in Pickering’s hamlets and rural areas, Grammy award-winning producer, Boi1da, can now collaborate with top music artists like Drake, Eminem, Rihanna, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, and Jack Harlow directly from his home studio here in north Pickering.”
Drake and Boi-1da have created some classics, over the past 13 years. These include “God’s Plan,” “Best I Ever Had,” “Controlla,” and “Headlines.”
