Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion perform “Bongos” at VMAs

The annual MTV Video Music Awards are currently being held in Newark, NJ, inside the Prudential Center.  Awards are already being handed out, as well as electric performances being provided. Taylor Swift has the most nominations for this year, with eight. SZA comes in at second, with six.

Furthermore, one of these performances just came from Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion. The two performed Cardi’s new “Bongos” single, which features Megan.

Bongos is Cardi and Megan’s second collaboration together, since 2020. Back then, Megan was featured on Cardi’s “WAP” single, which went on to debut at number one in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Last week, it went on to go 8x platinum.

Cardi is also working on her sophomore album, as she recently revealed to The Breakfast Club, that it’ll be out in the first quarter of 2024. This will be her first project since April, 2018, back when she released her Billboard 200 chart-topping debut studio album, “Invasion Of Privacy.”
