Never is Cardi B one to ever back down from a challenge. Last year saw Cardi B go from being one of many rappers trying to get in to being in hip hop history. Not only is she top dog, in the rap game, next to Drake, she is the only female rapper with two Hot 100 hits.
Cardi B has dominated the summer of 2018, starting with the release of her single, “Be Careful,” back in March. But, Cardi B came through with her second straight summer anthem, “I Like It,” this year. That single made her the first female rapper to top Billboard twice.
Ever since Cardi B made her rise, fans and media, alike, have tried pitting her and Nicki Minaj against each other. Despite this, both ladies have said they have no problems with the other. Another well-meaning fan tried to press Cardi B on this, via her sister, Hennessy, and Cardi went OFF.
