This year, Cardi B has completely taken over the game, and the whole world has taken notice. She began 2017 starring on “Love & Hip Hop,” although she gave noticed that she was leaving the show. Only days after the reunion, Cardi B revealed she signed with Atlantic Records.
Cardi B scored a $10 million deal and immediately went in and delivered a summer anthem. Her “Bodak Yellow” single has held its own, as Khaled, French Montana, Kendrick, and Future delivered their best. It also has held its own with an amazing Jay-Z comeback.
Last night, Cardi B proved how far she came in a very short span of time. She was front and center during the Floyd Mayweather/Conor McGregor fight, in Vegas. Even Floyd remarked on her growth, as she performed at an after-party, and let it be known she’ll be back with new music, soon.
