Cardi B did receive $1 million to perform at Miami bankers event
Last week was Art Basel week in Miami, as plenty of celebrities attended the star-studded events throughout the city. Offset performed at E11EVEN nightclub, which was his first show since Takeoff’s passing. Cardi B was also in attendance. A few days later, Travis Scott also delivered a surprise performance at E11EVEN.
Reports had also surfaced that Cardi B earned $1 million, that week. This was reportedly for a 35-minute performance, in front of a group of bankers, at a private event.
However, Cardi did go on to officially confirm this performance, on Twitter. She explained how this was at an elite bankers private event, for about 400 people. She also went on to say that people need to think about that, when they see the Grammy-winner label on her.
Cardi has been quiet with single releases in 2022, but is currently featured on one of the biggest records in the US, which is GloRilla’s “Tomorrow 2.” This collaboration is currently at number 22 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Cardi went on to film the video for Tomorrow 2, all over New York City.
