Cardi B deletes Twitter account after criticism for not coming to Grammys
The 2022 Grammys just wrapped up in Las Vegas, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The biggest names in the music industry were celebrated, as it was an epic night in Sin City.
While some of the biggest awards were being announced, Cardi B was very active on Twitter. She was heavily criticized by fans on the app for not coming to the Grammys. This soon resulted in fans verbally attacking Cardi’s children. This soon resulted in Cardi deleting her Twitter account.
“I’m deleting my Twitter On God I hate this f*ckin dumbass fan base,” Cardi said “You got the slow dumbasses dragging my kids all cause y’all [thought] I was going to the Grammys and I didn’t the f*ck?”
Fans also voiced their frustration, over Cardi still not releasing her sophomore album. The last project she put out was way back in April 2018, with her debut studio album, “Invasion Of Privacy.”
Tonight at the Grammys, Cardi was nominated in the Best Rap Performance category, for her 2021 “Up” single. That single originally topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart, last March, after being released that February.
