Since the summer of 2017, Cardi B has been the biggest figure in rap, and she has tons of bangers. Not only is “Bodak Yellow” still getting spins, “Bartier Cardi” has dominated radio for months. Her features are insane, and “Be Careful” is also creeping up on people.
Cardi B has made a lot of noise and Invasion of Privacy, her long-awaited debut album, went gold in one day. The album is well on its way to going platinum, already. In this day and age, it’s hard for established artists to go platinum, not even mentioning newcomers.
Along with her music, Cardi B’s lifestyle and her way of talking, has also made a huge impact. Last night, Cardi B co-hosted with Jimmy Fallon, which was also historic. During a part of the show, Cardi B explained her catchphrases to him.
