Cardi B has been making headlines this month due to reconciling with her husband, Offset. This is after she filed for divorce from him in Georgia last month. The reconciliation came during her birthday weekend in Las Vegas over two weeks ago.
Cardi has defended Offset plenty of times on social media and she’s at it again. This time, she is uplifting Offset since he has constantly posted online about the importance of voting. He even posted a Lyft code that gets people free rides to the polls. She recently posted to her Instagram feed with a very lengthy caption about how people ignore when they speak on things such as voting but always pay attention to their drama.
“This man has posted ten plus times about voting but the one time he talks about a bag it’s what makes ya go into a frenzy and In deep conversations.I spoke too many times about voting and ya call me “dumb” “ or shut up and stay out politics “ When we go on live and talk about society you will see the views go down real fast.I don’t understand why people be fronting like ya be interested in something and want too see “more celebrities “ invested on social issues but what YAAA MAKE TREND is drama and what buying what and who is getting what ? So who is at fault the celebs or the public?”
Cardi has very valid points here. The Instagram Live numbers definitely go up when she addresses drama but when these social issues come up, they don’t receive the attention that the negativity does. Drama definitely does sell in this age but topics such as voting need to be focused on as well.
