In terms of just numbers, Cardi B is the most successful female rapper of all-time. How she did it has made every woman in the club believe she can get signed. While they may can, Cardi has proven even all of the dancing they do is overrated. In a recent video, Cardi twerked for her followers. It was the rare fail from her.
Cardi B gained prominence in the music industry with “Bodak Yellow.” In September 2007, she ended up beating out Taylor Swift in order to top Billboard Hot 100. At the time, she was only the second female rapper to top the Hot 100. In addition, she was the first in eighteen years to have such an accomplishment. However, Cardi began releasing Billboard Hot 100 number one singles every year, now owning the record. Behind her is Megan Thee Stallion with two number one singles.
Cardi B is the Billboard queen of rap and it doesn’t look like that’s changing soon. As a result, the fans have continuously demanded that Cardi release her second album. In 2018, months after she topped the charts the first time, Cardi released her debut album. Ever since, she’s been accused of being a part-time rapper. However, her part time normally results in her going number one. When it came to how she was twerking, though, the fans said Cardi can keep that.
