Cardi B hints at sophomore album finally coming
Recently, it was revealed that Cardi B and Offset shot a McDonald’s commercial for the upcoming Super Bowl. This was done over the holidays, as it will reportedly feature a Valentine’s Day theme. This comes several years after Cardi’s first SB ad, which was in collaboration with Pepsi.
However, Cardi’s long-awaited sophomore album may also be on the way, soon. One of Cardi’s A&Rs, Brooklyn Johnny, took to his Instagram feed to hint that this may be the case. He uploaded a photo of Cardi in the studio, with the caption “Y’ALL READY?! #CardiB”
This album would definitely be a long time coming, as it’d be Cardi’s first project since April 2018. At the time, that was her debut studio album, “Invasion Of Privacy.” It went on to debut at number one in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. It also contained two diamond records, in “Bodak Yellow” and “I Like It” featuring J Balvin and Bad Bunny. Cardi has since been rumored on multiple occasions, to put out the sophomore project, but it may finally be a reality now.
