Back in the fall of 2019, Lizzo and Cardi B both co-starred in the box office hit, “Hustlers.” This film also featured Keke Palmer and Jennifer Lopez. Since then, fans have been wanting a collab from Cardi and Lizzo. Now, Cardi is finally addressing this possibility on Twitter.

Cardi applauded recently photos that Lizzo took as she said “These photos do it for me.” A fan then replied by saying “Now drop that collab with her.” Cardi then responded with “Can I do a song first that I can put her on.”

Another fan then said “YESS WE WANT A COLLAB.” From that point, Cardi emphasized that collabs don’t happen right away. She explained how she doesn’t want people to keep pressuring her to do things. Cardi added that she should be able to show love to other people without fans asking for collaborations all of the time.

A Cardi x Lizzo collab would easily have all of the makings of a No. 1 record. Currently though, Cardi is seeing massive success with her new “Up” single which dropped last month. Fans are still awaiting on new music from Lizzo as she last released her “Cuz I Luv You” album in 2019, her breakout year as a superstar.
