Cardi B Reveals She Has No Management Following News of Migos Suing Quality Control Music’s Lawyer For Malpractice

Cardi B says she has no management after Migos lawsuit
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Migos would be suing Quality Control Music’s lawyer, Damien Granderson, for malpractice. They are seeking millions of dollars in court after being cheated of millions. The lawsuit also stated that Granderson was “abusing his position of trust as Migos’ fiduciary from the moment he was retained as Migos’ lawyer.”
Back in 2018, Cardi B also signed management deal with QC’s Solid Foundation branch. Following Migos’ lawsuit, it appears that she headed out as well. On Twitter, she has no managers at all right now. In the meantime, her lawyer is handling all of her business.
A fan also mentioned Cardi explaining how her only legal dispute is with her former manager, Klenord “Shaft” Raphael and his KSR label who has been suing her for $10 million. Cardi confirmed this has the current issues have nothing to do with Atlantic Records and the fact that she was never signed to QC in an artist deal. The legal battle with KSR went down before her debut studio album, ‘Invasion of Privacy‘ was released as well. The fan also pointed out that Cardi doesn’t need to release new music now because IOP continues to do so well.
Invasion of Privacy has since been certified 3x platinum by the RIAA in the US. In 2019, Cardi released two singles with “Please Me” feat. Bruno Mars and “Press.” Please Me went 3x platinum and Press was platinum as well. It’ll be interesting to see if we do get Cardi’s sophomore labium at some point in 2020.
