Cardi B said she was suicidal after Tasha K said she had herpes
A few years ago, Cardi B began beefing with Tasha K, a prominent YouTuber. In 2018, she began releasing a series of videos about The Bronx rapper. One of these videos saw Tasha K make claims about Cardi having various STDs, which angered the rapper.
Cardi B confronted Tasha K, over her comments, but then went the legal route. In March 2019, she filed a defamation suit against the blogger. Responding to this, Tasha K filed a $3 million lawsuit against Cardi, claiming she made threats towards her, but the charges were dismissed.
Today, Cardi B was in court, and she took the stand, where she gave her testimony. This entire situation began, when Tasha K made claims that Cardi had herpes, HPV, among other STDs. Those rumors were damaging and had the potential to end her career, along with destroy her personal relationships.
Cardi B got emotional, while she was on the stand, explaining what happened. Not only did Cardi say she was suicidal, after the claims were made, she said she also began to feel depressed. She said she felt as if she didn’t deserve her marriage to Offset, nor did she deserve to be a mother to her daughter, Kulture.
