Clearly, Cardi B was a star, when she began going viral on Instagram, with her videos. Those videos led to Cardi B joining the “Love & Hip Hop” cast. Her time on the show helped revive “Love & Hip Hop,” as many stopped paying attention to the show, preferring the spinoffs.
Cardi B surprised everyone, with how big “Bodak Yellow” became. No one was surprised when the song became a massive club banger. A lot of people expected Nicki Minaj to jump on the record and then it would blow up, but Cardi B proved to not need a feature.
However, Cardi B has a tough act to follow, because she stayed on top of Billboard for three weeks. But, Cardi B took to Twitter to let people know she is feeling the pressure and Atlantic Records isn’t the one pressuring her. When a fan tried to pick on her, calling her a “one hit wonder,” Cardi B went in on her, giving her the business.
