Cardi B says stop picking on kids to stop school shootings

Steadily, over the past five years, Cardi B has been on the rise. But, people weren’t paying attention until “Bodak Yellow” became the massive hit it is. The record made history and dominated the late summer of 2017. With this single, Cardi became the second female rapper in history to top the Billboard Hot 100.

Cardi B took her momentum into the fall, doing a series of features, where she stole the show. This includes Migos’ “Motorsport,” G-Eazy’s breakout hit, “No Limit,” and Bruno Mars’ “Finesse.” On top of that, her second single, “Bartier Cardi,” with 21 Savage, has performed well. Already, Cardi B has hits under her belt with the likes of Nicki Minaj, who applauded her success as “a fellow New Yawka.”

This weekend, Cardi B did Los Angeles for NBA All-Star Weekend, and everything went well. After making some appearances, Cardi B decided to speak out on the school shootings. Currently, the world is reeling from the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Florida. Pointing out how she noticed all of the shooters look “different,” Cardi B advised the kids to not pick on people, and give compliments, instead.
