Cardi B says that sophomore album won’t be released in 2024

On Tuesday, Cardi B took to social media to give fans some disappointing news, regarding her long-awaited sophomore album. This is a project that was initially planned to finally be released, sometime in 2024.

On Twitter/X, Cardi explained how she agrees that she interacts with the wrong people, online. Moreover, she claimed that her album is no longer coming, this year. However, Cardi did reveal that she would be releasing the collaborations with artists that she already has in the stash.

In 2024, Cardi B has released two records. Those have been her “Like What (Freestyle),” which arrived on March 1. Two weeks later, she dropped off her “Enough (Miami)” single. Enough was a very solid success, as it went on to debut at number nine in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Cardi’s consistently led many to believe that her album would finally be out soon, but now it appears that fans will now have to wait until 2025.

Cardi’s last project came way back in April 2018. At the time, she released her debut studio album, “Invasion Of Privacy.” That debuted atop the Billboard 200, won Best Rap Album at the Grammys, and contained two diamond records in “Bodak Yellow” and “I Like It” featuring J Balvin and Bad Bunny.
