In just under a year, Cardi B has learned what life is like, being a real star. Before “Bodak Yellow,” Cardi B was just reality TV famous, and on a hip hop show, at that. While that audience is big, it’s nothing compared to the national spotlight.

It was that national spotlight, plus the intensified attention from the urban world that led to Cardi B calling her album Invasion of Privacy. As she’s said, Cardi B felt like her privacy was really invaded. No matter what she shared, it was never enough.

Cardi B went on her media run and she visited Sway at Shade 45. In her interview with him, Cardi B spoke on her having a baby with Offset, and being pregnant at her peak. She also talked about debuting on top of Billboard and the realities of the industry.
