Cardi B defends Lizzo, telling people to stop hating, and says “Rumors” is doing great

Cardi B, since 2017, has been one of the biggest names in music. With just one album out, Cardi has remained on top of the game for four years. Meanwhile, Lizzo emerged, back in 2019, and she has also had the type of insurgent success that Cardi enjoyed.

After Lizzo went on IG Live, in tears about being made fun of, following “Rumors” release, Cardi B spoke out. Among other things, Cardi told people to stop body shaming Lizzo. She accused people of showing “fake hate” to the “Rumors” record, on social media, in an attempt to keep artists from working with her.
