Cardi B to cover burial and funeral costs of Bronx of victims in building fire

On January 9, a fire engulfed a Bronx apartment building. Seventeen people died in this fire, along with others who were injured. The others injured were treated at local hospitals. Since the fire, there have been a lot of questions about what happened. Also, there are a lot of families who have suddenly had to deal with funeral expenses

Cardi B is stepping up to help her hometown in the midst of these tragedies. Five years ago, she took over the music industry, with “Bodak Yellow.” Now, she is covering funeral and burial costs of those who passed away in the Bronx fire. During an interview with TMZ, Cardi said that she doesn’t want their loved ones worrying about needing to handle expensive burial costs.

In unison with the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City, Cardi B is taking care of the expenses. Her efforts have certainly impressed Eric Adams. The newly-elected NYC mayor is proud of Cardi. In a statement to TMZ, he said as much. Mayor Adams said she is a “true superstar” for her efforts.
