Cardi B has seen more huge success since August with the release of her “WAP” single featuring Megan Thee Stallion. This record debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and has since been certified 3x platinum by the RIAA in the US. At the same time though, her previous singles which turned her into a superstar, “Bodak Yellow” and “I Like It” feat. J Balvin and Bad Bunny are still making a lot of noise.

I Like It has just been certified 9x platinum by the RIAA, just like Bodak Yellow has. I Like It has also now tied Bodak Yellow as the highest certified female rap song in RIAA history, according to Chart Data. At the time of its release in 2018, it reached the top of the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

I Like It was released as a single shortly after the release of Cardi’s debut studio album, ‘Invasion of Privacy,’ in April 2018. This album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart as well and has since achieved 3x platinum in the US. Now, the wait is on for Cardi’s sophomore album as there is still no official release date yet.
