Cardi B’s “Invasion of Privacy” Album Offically Passes Lauryn Hill’s “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” as Longest-Charting Debut Album By a Female Rapper in Billboard 200 History

Over a week ago, Cardi B achieved another huge accomplishment regarding her 2018 debut album, “Invasion of Privacy.” It tied Lauryn Hill’s “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” as the longest-charting debut album by a female rapper in Billboard 200 history at 91 weeks. This comes after Invasion of Privacy officially became the most streamed female rap album in Spotify history last month.
Cardi’s project which has since gone 3x platinum has now broken this tie with Hill as she’s achieved 92 consecutive weeks, according to Chart Data. Invasion of Privacy was released after a breakout 2017 in which Cardi had her first hit single with “Bodak Yellow.”
Among the other fan favorites on the album are “I Like It” featuring J Balvin and Bad Bunny, “Ring” feat. Kehlani, and “Get Up 10.”
Cardi also had a solid 2019 as she had two more hit records with “Press” and “Please Me” feat. Bruno Mars. Her sophomore album is set to release this year. She’s been thinking about titling it “Tiger Woods” but that has not been made official.
