Cardi B’s “Invasion Of Privacy” album has every song go platinum

Cardi B hasn’t released an album in almost four years, but continues to be one of the biggest stars in the world. She’s released plenty of other hot singles, such as “WAP,” featuring Megan Thee Stallion, “Press,” and the chart-topping “Up,” in 2021.

Cardi’s last album was “Invasion Of Privacy,” back in April 2018. That was her debut studio album, as it was led by the number one hit single, “Bodak Yellow.” “I Like It,” featuring J Balvin and Bad Bunny also reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Now, IOP has reached another massive milestone.

According to Chart Data, Invasion Of Privacy is now the first album to have every song on an album, become certified platinum or higher, by the RIAA. On Thursday, songs from the album such as “Money Bag” and “Bickenhead” received platinum certifications.

I Do,” featuring SZA and “Thru Your Phone,” featuring Kehlani, also got to 2x platinum. In addition to the tracks from IOP, Cardi’s 2020 hit single, “WAP,” with Megan Thee Stallion, hit 7x platinum status.

Meanwhile, the wait is still on for Cardi’s long-awaited sophomore album. Currently, there is still no title or release date set, but is expected to be out sometime this year.
