Carl Nassib decided, since its Pride Month, that he would share his story. While he has known about his sexuality, for some time, Nassib kept it to himself. Meanwhile, he has risen the NFL ranks.
According to his Instagram post, Carl Nassib came out, to his family, fifteen years ago. The people around him encouraged him to come out, which he did, today. This news makes him the first active openly gay NFL player.
