Carlee Russell’s boyfriend says she was missing due to kidnapping
25-year-old Alabama woman Carlee Russell has been a major trending topic on social media, since the weekend. This was due to her initially going missing in Hoover, AL, on July 13. At the time, she was reportedly checking on a roaming toddler that she spotted on the side of an I-459 interstate highway. Furthermore, Russell was on the phone with the sister of her boyfriend, as screams were soon heard from Russell’s phone. Her phone, wig and car were left at the scene.
However, Russell went on to be found on Saturday night. This was confirmed by police in Birmingham, as she went on to be evaluated at University of Alabama-Birmingham hospital. In addition to Russell being found, she reportedly came to her parents’ house. Police supposedly received a call that Russell was at a Red Roof Inn, which was located five miles from the kidnapping.
Meanwhile, Russell’s boyfriend is now speaking out about the situation on Facebook. This is Tomar Simmons, who confirmed that Russell was initially kidnapped. He added that she was literally “fighting for her life for 48 hours,” so until she’s physically & mentally stable again, she won’t be able to provide any updates or whereabouts on her kidnapper.
