Yeah, The New Edition Story aired last night and it came on during the same hour as “Star” did on FOX. Viewers couldn’t go wrong with either program, last night. Just know that “Star” continued with the phenomenal performances.
Literally, Carlotta (Queen Latifah) had the performance of the night, as she and the girls are finally bonding. Although she and Alex (Ryan Destiny) have had their battles, they bonded over being dark skin girls and Jahlil (Benjamin Bratt) overlooking them. Expect more on that.
Carlotta wasn’t as overbearing, actually supporting Star (Jude DeMorest) in her goals of music success, and sharing a tender moment with Simone (Brittany O’Grady). Along with all of this, Carlotta is also dealing with Pastor Harris (Tyrese) pursuing his romantic agenda, and making her choir director. Her choir performance is what still has people talking.
