During the fall of 2012, PSY’s “Gangnam Style” single became an international hit. Full of energy, the dance has children all around the world dancing. Aside from being used as a joke, hip hop mostly overlooked “Gangnam Style.” Because of this, Cassidy decided to revamp the track.
Cassidy took “Gangnam Style,” during the weekend, and remixed the song. A parody of his own, Cassidy changed the title of the song to “Condom Style.” Several members of the hip hop community looked at Cassidy oddly after the song came out. Meek Mill went as far as saying Cassidy’s new freestyle was the “worst rap ever.”
Ride or Die TV spoke to Cassidy and he discussed his history in battle rap. Cassidy has been dubbed the “godfather of battle rap.” From there, Cassidy also spoke on his issues with Meek Mill. With the two sparring in the media, Cassidy responded to Meek Mill’s “worst rap ever” comment.
