Cassie was signed to Bad Boy Records, in the mid 2000s. In the summer of 2006, Cassie had a huge hit. Cassie rose to fame with her single, “Me & U.” Definitely, Cassie had a huge position in the pop lane. Despite building huge momentum, Cassie faded from the spotlight.
Cassie did not release another project for seven years. After that, Cassie remained on the Bad Boy roster. Over the years, Cassie was rumored to be dating Diddy. Despite all of the rumors, Cassie and Diddy never confirmed anything. However, Cassie and Diddy began making appearances together, in the 2010s.
Cassie and Diddy seemingly took steps to being official in 2017-2018. When Kim Porter passed away, Diddy spent months mourning her. While Diddy mourning the loss of the mother of his children is understandable, he called her his soul mate. All of this was taking place while Cassie was supposed to be Diddy’s girlfriend. When Diddy stopped his public mourning, he posted Cassie, shouting out their love. Meanwhile, Cassie posted herself with Alex Fine, who was her new boyfriend, at the time.
Cassie began trending on Twitter, last night. Diddy shouted her out during his BET Awards acceptance speech. This came in spite of Diddy now dating Yung Miami. While Twitter had a lot to say, Cassie said less. In the middle of all of this, Cassie shared an IG Story from her vacation.
