Cassie speaks out after video of being assisted by Diddy leaked
Last week, footage surfaced from March 2016, of Diddy assaulting Cassie at a Los Angeles hotel. He was throwing her to the ground, kicking her, as well as throwing items at her. Furthermore, Diddy went on to issue an apology video, two days later. However, many believed that this wasn’t genuine at all, due to Diddy denying the accusations before. This all comes after Diddy was hit with Cassie and other women in November, with various sexual assault lawsuits.
Meanwhile, Cassie is now speaking out for the first time, since the Diddy video went viral. She has just put out a statement on Instagram, where she expressed her being grateful for all the support she’s been receiving. Moreover, Diddy’s name wasn’t directly mentioned.
“Thank you for all of the love and support from my family, friends, strangers and those I have yet to meet,” Cassie wrote. “The outpouring of love has created a place for my younger self to settle and feel safe now, but this is only the beginning. Domestic Violence is THE issue. It broke me down to someone I never thought I would become. With a lot of hard work, I am better today, but I will always be recovering from my past.”
