As soon as the lawsuit was launched, Diddy settled it. Now, reports are saying the suit is officially dismissed.
Cassie rose to fame in 2006, when she released “Me & U.” The single was released during the summer of 2006. That song ended up being the biggest of her career. Cassie was signed to Bad Boy Records, but via a joint venture with Ryan Leslie’s NextSelection label. Back then, Cassie was also involved with Leslie. In the end, Leslie said she left him and NextSelection for Diddy. His old interviews have since gone viral, discussing the matter.
