Cassie’s lawyer bashes Diddy for apology of Cassie assault video
On Sunday morning, Diddy posted an apology video to social media, in regards to the video of him that leaked, of him assaulting Cassie in March 2016. This video was obtained by CNN, as the incident occurred at a hotel in the Century City area of Los Angeles, back in March 2016. In this video, Diddy is seen throwing Cassie to the ground, and even kicking her while she was unresponsive.
Furthermore, Diddy claimed that he was in a dark place, at the time. Therefore, he revealed that he even went to rehab to get treated. However, many on social media rightfully still agreed that Diddy still needs to go to prison.
Meanwhile, Cassie’s attorney, Meridith Firetog, is now calling out Diddy’s apology video, per TMZ. In a statement posted on Sunday, she called out Diddy for initially calling Cassie and other women’s lawsuits against him last fall, attempted moneygrabs.
“When Cassie and multiple other women came forward, he denied everything and suggested that his victims were looking for a payday. He was only compelled to ‘apologize’ once his repeated denials were proven false shows his pathetic desperation, and no one will be swayed by his disingenuous words.”
