Cesar Pena found himself in hot water, when people called out his venture with DJ Envy. Pena was the actual businessman that was leading the real estate venture. However, DJ Envy ended up becoming the face of the venture. In addition, Envy referred to Pena as his partner on “The Breakfast Club,” countless times. As a result, Joe Budden has been beyond vocal on his podcast, criticizing Envy and Pena. After that, Pena’s brother ran into Budden and called him out over his statements.
Cesar Pena came out of prison and then got into real estate. Simply based off that fact, Joe Budden said he chose to not get involved in the venture. Meanwhile, Budden established himself as one of the top lyricists in the game. However, he only had one successful solo album release. As a result, he retired from making music. After that, he fully immersed himself with his podcast, and that has since turned into a successful business.
Cesar Pena has kept quiet, while the accusations about him and DJ Envy mount. DJ Envy, however, has remained very vocal about that situation. Joe Budden has been right there, on his podcast, to call out the things Envy is saying. In addition, he’s had choice words for the entire situation. Recently, Budden was hanging out, outside of a NYC building. Pena’s brother ran up on Budden. He tried to confront him over his commentary, but Joe simply walked off.
