Chad Hurley responds to Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s lawsuit over proposal video

Chad HurleyWhen Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian, they said the moment may be televised. Viewers of E! (the Kardashian network) already know the proposal will air on an upcoming episode of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” This moment was expected to premiere on television then, but the video leaked online.

Soon, it was revealed that YouTube co-founder, Chad Hurley, was responsible for the video leaking online. Many expected Kanye West and Kim Kardashian to be upset about the video leaking. It turns out, they were right and soon a lawsuit was filed against Chad Hurley.

A month and a half later, Chad Hurley is speaking out against the lawsuit. He is countersuing and he claims he did not know cameras were not allowed at the exclusive event. Chad Hurley did admit to signing a waver about rights on the event, but he claims he didn’t read it and feels he shouldn’t be legally bound because he was misled in signing the agreement.
