In preparation of his third album, Venom, Chamillionaire is close to starting the video for the album’s first single, “Good Morning.” Released on October 13, it is the first single from his new album. Already, the single is in rotation on most radio stations.
“Good Morning” has all of the makings of a hit single, as it has already peaked at number forty on the Billboard Hot 100. The song has already been the most successful single released from Cham since his 2006 chart-topper, “Ridin’.” None of his singles in between “Ridin’” and “Good Morning” have even reached the Billboard Hot 100.
What seemed to be a bright and rising career suddenly took a turn for the worse after the release of his sophomore album, Ultimate Victory. Chamillionaire hopes to rebound from that with the release of his third album, Venom. Behind “Good Morning,” he may do exactly that.
Chamillionaire is currently set to release Venom on December 8, 2009 on Chamillitary Entertainment and Universal Records.
