Last week on “Empire,” Lucious (Terrence Howard) continued his winning streak by getting Roxanne Ford (Tyra Ferrell) to back off. He did this by placing Vernon’s (Malik Yoba) dead body in her car. In the opening minutes of tonight’s episode, the charges were dropped.
Lucious Lyon is now a free man, free to re-enter the “Empire” offices and free to buy Apex Radio. Now, Lucious can continue to block the efforts of Cookie and Hakeem (Taraji P. Henson and Bryshere “Yazz” Gray) with Lyon Dynasty. Tonight, he is upping the ante.
Regardless, Lucious had quite the celebration when the news of his freedom broke via CNN. As one of the biggest names in hip hop, Lucious is doing what it takes to protect his interests. The fans on Twitter are now reacting to his freedom.
