Since it has been five years since Lil Wayne released Tha Carter III and the game has gone through a lot of changes. Five years ago, however, there was a major debate going on about Lil Wayne belonging in the same category as Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G., and Jay-Z.
Eventually, Lil Wayne carved out his own lane in the game and few people are still pushing for the comparisons to the greats. This does not mean Lil Wayne is not still a hot commodity in the game. Despite all of it, Lil Wayne remains the highest-selling rapper in the game.
Charlamagne Tha God caught up with Vlad TV and they spoke about Lil Wayne. With the topic being on the Young Money leader, Charlamagne Tha God spoke on his position in the game. During their interview, Charlamagne Tha God said Lil Wayne, if he died today, would be put in the same category as the greats.
