A few years ago, Charles Hamilton was considered by many as the “next big thing.” The standout rapper was signed to Interscope Records and had his debut album in the works. Then, just like that, all of it was gone. Charles Hamilton was dropped from his label with no clear explanation.

Known for his eccentric antics, Charles Hamilton turned things up to a higher notch, turning off many of his followers. While Charles Hamilton was going through his situation, J. Cole was establishing himself. By 2011, J. Cole had a release date scheduled and hit singles.

J. Cole closed 2011 as one of the biggest artists in the game. However, J. Cole has been out of the public eye in 2012, so far. The Roc Nation rapper has a new album in the works, but it likely will not be released until later this year. Charles Hamilton has decided to go after J. Cole on his latest record.

On the track, Charles Hamilton called J. Cole and “ugly ass nigga,” along with other disrespectful lyrics.

Read the lyrics below:

I remember when I met you, you was dissin’ Jay / Shit bothered me anyway / It’s not that I didn’t like him, I just heard rumors / And I heard you was my junior / Throwin’ up the Roc sign / I assumed that you knew what it meant / Apparently, you didn’t / Nigga you was fishin, barely was livin’ / And I’m the one who put you in your new position / Just remember, nigga.”
