With help from Kanye West, Chief Keef became the biggest breakout artist of 2012. That says a lot, as he contended with Kirko Bangz, Ca$h Out, and Trinidad James for those honors last year. But, it was definitely the G.O.O.D. Music remix of “I Don’t Like” that ended up putting Chief Keef over the top.
Similarly, Migos dropped their “Versace” track, which was moving very well on the mixtape level. Drake caught wind of the song and then he added his verse to the record, which raised the stakes drastically. Since then, the Migos have become 2013’s biggest breakout talent.
In the world of Chief Keef, he is constantly getting into one situation or another. Taking a break from beefing with other Chicago rappers, Chief Keef placed his sights on Atlanta, going at the Migos. According to his tweet, Chief Keef thinks Migos are sneak dissing him and he doesn’t like that.
