There is no denying where Chief Keef is headed, straight to the top. A part of the resurgent Chicago hip hop scene, back in March he began to make headlines. Last month, however, is when Chief Keef began making steps toward superstardom. His popular single, “I Don’t Like,” has spawned a number of remixes.
As “I Don’t Like” gained popularity, Chief Keef became to topic of discussion when it came to unsigned artists. Many labels began making offers to Chief Keef. Birdman immediately expressed interest in signing him. Young Jeezy also offered Chief Keef a deal with CTE.
The bidding war for Chief Keef is now over, however. Earlier today, Chief Keef revealed to MTV News that he has a label home. The Chicago emcee revealed he was signing to Interscope Records.
