Following the success of Drake, who was an actor long before rap stardom, Donald Glover, Jr. began his switch in 2011. Towards the end of 2011, he reinvented himself as Childish Gambino. Since then, he has returned to acting and doing so as Childish Gambino.
Years of rumors became real life, when “Atlanta” premiered on FX, to much success. Not following the political-correctness of the world, the show hilariously deals with stereotyping and race. For some, the show may end up going over their heads.
But, for those who get “Atlanta” enjoy it to no end and they feel the first season ended too soon. For his efforts, Childish Gambino was awarded, last night. He took home the award for ‘Best Actor in a Comedy Series’ for his lead role on “Atlanta.”
