One of the signature songs from TLC is the “Waterfalls” single. This single was taken from their breakout album, CrazySexyCool. A lot of teenagers from this era have come to grips with their age, as this song is now twenty years old. Eleven years ago, TLC was forever changed when the emcee of the clique, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, died.

“Waterfalls” has been given new life here in 2013. DJ YRS Jerzy gave the song a feature on his featured segment on Hip Hop Vibe, Wednesday Throwback. In celebration of their twentieth anniversary, TLC is planning to revisit their classic single, “Waterfalls,” but Left Eye is not featured and her family is not happy about it.

Chilli recently talked to TMZ and she explained why Left Eye is not featured on the “Waterfalls” remake. Instead, Left Eye has found herself replaced by Japanese pop singer, Namie Amuro, adding to the anger from Lopes’ family. But, Chilli explained to TMZ that she and T-Boz were not cleared to use Left Eye’s verse on the “Waterfalls” remake.
