Chilli surprised people when she and Matthew Lawrence began dating. On Usher’s Sunday, she made a post celebrating Lawrence’s birthday. There are many things that have surprised fans seeing them together. But they look happy and that’s what’s most important. Infamously, Chilli has gone back and forth with fans on social media. Today, one fan referred to her as “chocolate,” hinting at her interracial romance with Matthew Lawrence. In response, she said she was caramel.

Chilli rose to fame in the early 1990s, as one third of TLC. In 1999, the trio peaked with “No Scrubs” becoming the biggest song of that year. The song was actually written by Kandi Burruss and Tiny, who were members of Xscape. While TLC came with a huge record, it ended up being the end of the group, more or less. Three years later, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes ended up passing away in a tragic automobile accident, while on vacation.

Chilli is currently enjoying her life with Matthew Lawrence. So far, the two seem to be a very happy couple. The two are out here enjoying themselves, sharing all kinds of photos and videos. They were out there dancing in their latest video. One of the fans was hinting about them being an interracial couple and referred to Chilli as “chocolate.” Quick to correct the fan, Chilli replied to her, telling the woman she is actually “caramel.”
