Chinx Drugz talks “I’ll Take It From Here,” Riot Squad, Stack Bundles, and more with Hot 97 [VIDEO]

New York hip hop is in a state of emergency and the timing could not have been better, as the focus is back on the city. Two years ago, French Montana helped bring the attention back to New York. French Montana’s buzz helped Chinx Drugz get himself exposed to a bigger audience, too.

Being from Queens, Chinx Drugz was already known for being close with Stack Bundles and being a member of the Riot Squad. But, Chinx Drugz is also a Coke Boy and he has held the team down. Yesterday, Chinx Drugz dropped his EP, I’ll Take It From Here, which sounds like it could be directed towards the debate.

Chinx Drugz stopped by Hot 97 this week and he talked about I’ll Take It From Here, which is a solid project. The EP was not the only topic, as Chinx Drugz also talked about the Riot Squad. He also told DJ Cipha Sounds, Ebro, and Peter Rosenberg the story of how Stack Bundles saved his life.
